VQ交易系统 (VQ Trading System)

With few changes I have found VQ indicator to be the best in detecting a trend.

With many tweaking and testing hours. I have changed the default value of length from 5 to 7 to give better hold of the trend. The system works in both choppy as well as trendy environment.

The TF that I use is 1M, 5M and 15M with Length 7,7 and 35 respectively.

If you do not have much time for intra day trading, you can change the Length to 35 and use it on 15M chart. The values i have found is after hours and hours of manual testing. The only difference from the standard VQ indicator that has been around for a long time is the change of length.

You could use the jumping stop loss feature from EA MPTM with this indicator that Steve Hopwood has wonderfully created else use the standard SL and TP.

With small TP in 1M TF with length 7, The trading system is almost 90% effective in EURUSD, if you loose a trade, the next trade you can raise the lots linearly. It sounds martingale but it rarely ever crosses 3-4 lots before hitting the Take Profit. just test it manually for couple of days and you will know the results will speak for itself.

It has huge potential to work as an EA to trade on multiple pairs in lower time frame with small TP. If someone could code it as an EA would be great.

Try it manually for a day or two and you will see the huge potential of this indicator just by changing the length, then we could all go to Steve and beg for an EA to be created based on VQ indicator
