Latest Edited on 7th Sep 2013 Due to change in D1 setting for Optimal setups. Both 4920 and 3280 are good.
A Big Salute to KOS and the other contributors for a wonderful system.
Please note this system is only for experienced users and if any questions about basket trading, kindly search on the forum. You need to know how to use the offline indicator Basketv6 to make offline charts, and to use the EA for managing trades.
Here is my take on the System , keep me in the pips always and gives me overall feel of the trend. The Chart is self explanatory. I usually trade 1hr and above.
The 3 I-XO-H are 925, 1230 and 4920 ( 3280 ) . ( Optional HAS Setting for 1 hr is 2.9.2.12. )
1 hr trades are intra day, 4hr and daily are swing trades .
Trade with the daily trend, if 4920 ( 3280 _ shows Long, then my 925 and 1230 trades are only Long and vice versa for short trades.
Since the 1 Hr trades are intraday, i have added this additional condition , that if 925 and 1230 are confirming same, take first basket. Once the 4920 ( 3280 ) also confirms, add another basket. Move to BE once its up by 250 Pips .
As of now, am using the T101 Basket trader v. 2.3 to manage the trades with different Magic Numbers for each timeframe.
Attached are the templates i use the indicators. Change the 4920 IXOAH settings to 3280 if you wish to use that setting in the template.
In the End, had to add this, its from a FF member : pawpaw1000
I know this is going to sound cliché but one day it will make sense to you, I mean REALLY make sense to you, like an AHAA moment.
Trend is your friend (When you finally REALLY understand this, you will be profitable!)
Let winners run and define risk (My latest trade had a RR of 20, didn't start out like that but letting it run)
Learn to trade clean PA (Only way to go, you can keep going back to Indicators but you'll fail)
Read some books like "Trading in the zone"
Spend HOURS in front of charts... (I have been spending between 3 - 12 hours per day)
HAVE A PASSION FOR TRADING AND THE MARKETS...
