Disclaimer: I did not develop this system. It originated from a system used to trade minute charts and I have made some adjustments to trade it on higher time frames. This is a Work In Progress.

Up In The Clouds Trading System

Time Frame

4 Hour Chart.

Why? Because I don't like to sit and watch every little tick that happens. That being said I also don't want my chart to look totally different every time I look at it. I have found that with the 4 four chart it is very easy to see nearly every candle on the chart form, all while only having looking at your positions 4-5 times a day for a few minutes. (Trade to Live, Don't Live to Trade)

Indicators

- Ichimoku Cloud

- 50 MA or Simple Moving Average

- Stochastics

- Hiekan Ashi

Pairs I Trade

Entry Signals

Buy Signals:

Price Must Be Above The Cloud.

Price Must Be Above The 50 MA.

Hieken Ashi MUST have closed green less than 50 pips away from the 50 MA.

Stochastics Must Be Between 20 & 50.

Sell Signals:

Price Must Be Below The Cloud.

Price Must Be Below The 50 MA.

Hieken Ashi MUST have closed red less than 50 pips away from the 50 MA

Stochastics Must Be Between 50 & 80.

All Entries are placed at the close of the triggering HA Candle.

Exit Signals

Stops:

I used a fix stop of 50 pips or the last swing high/low(which ever is less).

Limits:

I will always use a fixed TP of 100 pips which will close half of the position and set stop to Break Even. Then let the winners ride. As the winners keep running I will move the Stop up 100 pips for every 100 pips the trade continues to run.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYONE. Every body trades a little different so your exits should fit your trading style/plan. This is what works for me.

Trading Plan

(Simplified)

Weekly Goal: 10%

Max Risk Per Trade: 2%

Max Position Size Per Trade: 10:1 Account Ratio

I recommend everybody creates a detailed growth plan for themselves so you know what your goal is. This is EXTREMELY important. You need to have goals or a target. Imagine a missile with no target. You will also be surpassed to see how much you can make after 2 years or so if you FOLLOW your plan.
